Risk Management is a way of reducing or eliminating accidents and incidents in the workplace. The course provides a way to analyze and categorize risks based on probability and severity, and then developing effective control measures to eliminate or mitigate the risk.

Risk awareness is not limited to top management neither should it be top-down driven. All workers must be able to recognize risks think about prevention rather than learning through experience. So the target audience is all workers and candidates of Maintenance Best.

- Probability – the likelihood of an accident occurring
- Severity – the potential for damage to the company
- Control Measures – the actions taken to prevent the accidents & incidents from occurring
- Identifying potential accidents & incidents
- Determining probabilities
- Determining severity and the risk score
- Selecting two control measures
- Reassessing probability & severity to arrive at the new risk score
